Guy has appeared in various national media outlets as an advocate of the marriage movement and was featured guest on 48 Hours and as a professional consultant for two documentary films; PBS Production “Children and Divorce” and “Marriage In America.” He holds a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and Doctorate of Ministry degrees. He has practiced as a Pastoral Counselor and Marriage coach for 25 years offering premarital counseling and couples counseling. He has published "Relationship Matters"- Foundations for healthy and lasting relationships and contributes regularly to HomeFront Magazine.


​Roxanna is trained as an  Addiction Specialist  and holds an MA in Child Development. She co-teaches Foundations for Lasting Relationships at California Baptist University. Roxanna counsels women in the areas of core identity, significance and relationships. Her passion is in cooperating with the Holy Spirit to heal hurts and wounds that impair a woman's ability to relate to others in  healthy and balanced ways. She speaks at Mom's Next, MOPS and Christian womens' retreats. She regularly leads workshops teaching on the subject of codependence. Roxanna assists women in post-abortal grief and healing. She has published  "Pearl"- The art of being found, loved and valued in the heart of God along with numerous articles in various publications.


Guy and Roxanna have been married 31 years and they have two adult children.

Guy has taught New Testament and Foundations for Lasting Relationships at California Baptist University. He teaches at Gateway Theological Seminary southern California campus as the Director of Theological Field Education. Previously Guy served at CBU as the Dean of Spiritual Life. He pastored Shoreline Baptist for nine years and Orangeburg Avenue Baptist Church in Modesto California for 7 years where he was instrumental in expanding the Community Marriage Policy which has been credited for dramatically reducing the divorce rate.
